I'm really into vintage porn. I know that video cameras of the day did not have sound and the ones that did were very expensive and the sound was horrible at best and eventually broke. Remember the video cameras were clumsy and huge! Most X video crews only used one camera, but had a boom for sound and because they were so light sensitive they had to have a lot of lighting which is why you can see the crews shadows walking around. By the time digital came along the old tapes had degraded so badly that most have lost their luster and didn’t transfer to digital very well. I was asked to do a YMAC video once, but I was in the army at the time and had to refuse. However I would have loved to have had a go at Lee Hunter best known for CAMP YMAC. I also agree too that the twinks back then looked hotter because they had nide heads of hair. Short hair just makes everyone look the same. Another thing I like about the older videos was that they didn’t just start out naked and already engaged in sex. It played havoc on pockets full of quarters, but anticipation of the initial flirt gave the films a quality I really miss.
