An ethical question.

My friend,Rudolph Hucker,says that if I stop eating beef I will be helping to save the earth due to the fact that Daisy the cow's methane emissions are 21 times more harmful to the atmosphere than CO2.Now if you ask me,a sensible way to cut the harmful emissions would surely be to eat Daisy, ergo no further harmful emissions.
Would love comments from non vegeterians!

Well I think your logic is flawed because Daisy was probably encouraged to have many baby Daisies (aka calves) to feed more and more meat eaters before you had a chance to eat her.
PS. I am not a vegetarian
