depending on how many in my party. If its a large party I tip at least 3 bucks a person. If its a small party say just me and another person I usually tip between 5 and 10 bucks. If its just me and he's a hottie who flirts with me or has a huge package I have neen known to leave a $50 with my number and sometimes had a great weekend

good food, knowledge and atmosphere, value for money 10-15 % but If service is good/excellent and with something small from "personality" of the waiter, I can tip 20 to 30%.

It depends on the service, sometime nothing but mostly 10 percent to 20 depending on how good the food is and how good the service.

I tip according to quality of services provided above the minimum expected. If a server drops off my food and never comes back but to drop off the tabl - No tip from me.

Hay Mikey - I'm confused about the blog. when we messaged about tipping, your mentioned something about being drunk and cows, what was that all about ????????? Andy :-)

I try my best to tip servers based on the quality of their work. I usually use the 15% rule as a basis and if they're good servers I'll go up from there. I don't expect them to bend over backwards and feed me my dinner, I just expect drinks and food to get there at a decent time.

here in the U.S. food servers work for less then minimum wages and rely on tips
i dont usual tip based on food quality, but more the quality of service.
an average server will always get 25% of the check from me.
but a server that goes above and beyond gets 50% to 100% of the check
the last time out my brother, mom, dad, and myself had dinner at olive garden
our check was for right at 150.00, our server was fantastic and i left him
125.00 tip.

I tend to be a generous tipper. Was a server in my youth. I base things on the service and the food quality. Interesting to note, I met my partner because of the server he provided to a group I was with. I generously over tipped (probably close to 30%). But screwed up the total and actually short changed him. He found me in the hotel and asked if I would correct it. I did. And we have been together ever since. Coming up on 30 years in December.

Tipping is pretty unheard of in my country. Servers have their wages.

lol..georgets,,,,i'm mostly a good tipper. 20 percent. if service is poor, cut that in half. really bad experience, 0 tip. delivery tip is always very good. i tip a dollar for call in orders that i pick up. i don't contribute to tip jars at the counter.

My friend Rudolph Hucker had an invitation to a toga party. Sadly he's dyslexic. He went dressed as a goat.

Haha, I have been a server but it was at a dining hall on a school campus, no tips there LOL. Actually having been working in food service I know how hard a job it can be, your physically work hard, get very little respect from patrons and tend to make very little in hourly wages so I tend to tip on the high side, usually in the area of 20% even for just average service. I tend to base my tip mostly on the quality of the food but if the server is cute that never hurts :-)
