Worse Day of my Life

So today I was suppose to be off from work but I was asked yesterday to come in from 4-11 and if you did not know I work at Chick-Fil-A and today was one of those protest days across the nation. Instead of working that time, I worked from 11AM until after midnight and then it was worse. Non stop crowds....lines outside....drive thru crowded....people screaming and shouting....endless orders....polices and protesters...everyone in support with the resturant....it was just so bad and we ended up serving past our closing time. I almost went to jail cause of what people were telling me and they were taking pics of me and videotaping. I was so pissed off at the end of the night...all this over one comment! :-( I felt like I was really going to die...oh how I wanted to tell them all I was gay but I kept my trap shut so that no trouble occurred....i am scared to even go back to work but I got no choice...but let someone mess with me on friday and I will not hold back! Now i am weak and tired...i need sleep lol nitey nite

I find it disturbing that so many people would go out of their way to actively support CF's position. I tend to believe this more about their antipathy for gays than with the marriage issue. They merely use the marriage issue to hide behind so no one can accuse them of gay bashing. The problem I see is that the more rabid among them could see this mass support as a legitimization for violence against gays (see Kristalnacht). "Alone, a man can be a cultured individual. Chris sorry the situation with the public and chick has got to this point,the media sometimes
rides storms like this for gains, just try to ride the storm out as this to will pass and some
normalcy will return

Chris. I had to be hard. I know the feeling from previous times in my life. Be true to yourself, but also be safe. The sign of a real warrior and champion is knowing when to fight and when to play quiet. GBT is filled with people willing and able to support you through this. Thomas

damn!! it really sucks when we all cant just leave each other alone and respect one's opinions!!
this is what happens when angry, mislead people over react to things out of thier control. they fail to realize the impact on innocent people.
as a gay person i am disapointed with chic's position but i understand it is a personal thing based on religious believes. i dont share that but i can respect that. i say its great they live and own a business in a country that allows them to do so! its what makes america...america
