Since winter is coming i was wondering if anyone here are hockey fans. I am a huge Leafs fan but the team currently suck but still loyal to them. So if you are a fan who is your favorite team and why.

Cool seems like a lot of hockey fans here. To bad the NHL might have a lockout and might lose yet another season. That god for the other leagues like OHL or AHL to get my hockey fix this year if there is a long lockout.

Uh Oh! Looks like a lock out at midnight saturday for NHL. Might be a short season this year. The used to be tuff guys and were treated well by owners and fans alike. NOW just more and more money. They could care less about the game or their fans. WHO is going to pay - WE are It's already $100 or more USjust to sit in the nose bleed section. NFL is worse. $62 US for a 'pre-season seat'. Time to get out the horse shoes and sharpen your own skates. Go watch the kids clubs play - more fun anyway.

Thanks JohnnyBoy. I do like the Hurricanes Justin but like it was just said. The Red Wings are one of the original 6. That was when hockey was almost all Canadian. So I watched the and there are my team. They are the only thing left in Detroit worth saveing.

I grew up in the land of the Red Wings...they are and always will be my home town team....Hell I am old enough to have seen Gordie Howe play....

Rob it OK buddy I don't hate you for like the Habs well not that they can do any better then my Leafs both teams suck right now. As for Davy why are you pink on Andy for liking the Wings the Wings are an original 6 team. I am glad he supports a great team in hockey they have a lot of history in Detroit with hockey since they are know as Hockey Town USA.

Davey it OK, I would not hate you for liking another team. You could like Ottawa or Montreal and we will still be friends. You don't have to like the Leafs just because they are my hometown team. However I am glad to see a few hockey fans. I know there are a few others since I have talk to some here that have yet to reply.

hehe i love ice hockey i always been keen on the Calgary teams but also i started to follow Nottingham Panthers (UK Team).
