Why am I getting pop ups now every time I log on to the site now?

If it keeps the site funded then I don't mind. At least they're on topic with the site. If they were about (ugh) girls, then I might have an objection.

Nick do what ever the site needs to keep it growing and improveing. It's easy to bump it off and GLAD it isn't spam. Thanks NICK - Andy

whats the use of pop blocker when the pop up opens in a new windows in background, but as long as that pop can be closed it is okay

I get them too, my popup blocker stops them from coming up anyways
