there is not really any proof that the world would end on the 21/12/2012 and all we have is a Mayan calendar and if the Mayans were so smart at telling the future then how come they all died and not see their end come

why do people buy into this crap? The Mayan calendar may be ending (and beginning), however the Mayans themselves ended 1000 years ago! Apparently with no heads up from their trusty calendar. Is anybody aware of the young people who were so disturbed and worried about these stupid stories that they took their own lives? I guess because no royalty was involved nobody gives a flying fuck do they?

i kinda think it may also be smthg else... such as a disruption in global politics or a collaps of economies. with all the global turmoil going right now... think about it. we are tinkering on the brink of who knows what! syria, n.korea, israel, european and usa economic crisis.. and who knows what all we are not being told..??? threats come in all forms...just like evil

What I find interesting is that many of the people who are quick to dismiss this prophecy are Christians, who follow the teaching of a person who according to myth lived over 2000 years ago died and rose from the dead. Isnt that just as far fetched? I mean looking at these predictions and cults religions all form a strictly scientific point of view they are all a big bowl of fruit loops
