Cheesy Horror Films

Blog Last Activity 11 years ago 512 views 16 comments
So, I am strolling through Walmart as I tend to do from time to time (it's a great people watching venue) and what do I come across? Two DVDs with a collection of cheesy horror films! Oh Walmart, finally, an entity that understands me. I received a wholesome bounty of the nine Puppet Master films, the Killjoy trilogy, the Demonic Toys trilogy, and the Gingerdead Man trilogy. I am slowly making my way through Puppet Master, I will be on part 3 tonight. Does anyone else enjoy poorly made horror films? Honestly, it's the only reason I watch Scifi channel.

Toni, I'm enjoying the "You Think You're a Man" song. I already have enough issues in my life, so I won't watch that first link. Once is enough for a lifetime.

Toni, black-and-white and from the late 50's, how thrilling! It reminds me of "The Blob." I'll have to check them out sometime =).

Mlant, although I love Stephen King for his striking ability to create a storyline and make complex characters, I imagine that he is what someone walking out on you in the middle of sex is like. He gets you all riled up, you're about to climax, and then he zips up and walks out. Still love him, though. Thanks, Davey! One would think that adding in ninjas would have been too much, but they really make the movie classy =D. Draget, something about the poor substance makes it so delightful, especially since with Puppet Master, they made it up as they were going. Senip, "The Human Centipede" was cute compared to "The Human Centipede 2." It sounds sick of me to say it, but I'm really hoping they get the whole part 3 thing figured out. For those who don't know, Human Centipede is the vilest film EVER. It puts John Waters' "Pink Flamingos" to shame (another vile film). Part 2 is in black-and-white and has sparse dialog, which adds to the horror of it all somehow.

Yes! Love that stuff. Seen all the Puppet Master and some Demonic Toys. I have no idea what draws me to grade B schlock....

Good point hond1, that explains why they are the ones being chased. Its only a matter of time before gravity takes over and makes them an easy catch.

Their tits throw off their center of equilibrium.

Bad continuity , poor plot , predictable story line , yeah i love em .Just one question , why do the girls always fall over whilst running from the slow moving person or thing that is trying to kill them , are they just giving them a sporting chance ?

I like them but I prefer Stephen King movies (and books).
