Having a kind of down day

I'm having a kind of down day, just feeling the blues pretty bad. A very close friend I have known for about ten years now got sentenced to prison for 20 months on drug charges this morning. Like I said we were close, he is straight but knew I secretly wasn't. He was one of onl a very few people that know and he never judged me like so many others can at times. We talked about all kinds of crazy shit over a few beers or a few shots over the years. He was the guy you could always go to for almost anything and has always been there when I needed help with something or just to talk. I miss him pretty bad already and though I knew it was possible he'd get prison time it still just makes me feel bad.
I know there is nothing anyone can do I just needed to vent a bit and I can't do that much anywhere but here.

Look on the bright side. When he gets out of prison he may be more open to having hot gay sex with you.

i'm very sorry yer par is gone for a while..like the guy have said..you can keep in touch with him..maybe visit him..your bond with him will be stronger now..stay busy and positive..g/l..mike//xx

Sorry about your down day, the one thing that will help is keep in contact with him it will keep him sane as well as you,

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Maybe that 20 months will be reduced. Will you be able to visit him? If so, maybe you can look forward to the visits. He is not gone permanently, so there's a half-full. I hope you feel better.
