certainly sorry for her family but must agree with chris19578. She may have been an Iron Lady but she destroyed most of the Country north of the M25

G - She said what she meant and used the guts to back it up. She will be remembered as a Great Lady and stood Tall with President Regan to bring PEACE during the times in office - often at personal expense. When HRH Elizabeth pays homage - that person has value to Her Country and Government. She rates a salute from me for having a good heart and being a good ally - her politics aside. Andy

You seem to forget we had 13 years of so called New Labour since MT...if they had fine tuned her revolution instead of spend spend spend as is usual for socialists (not to mention Labour's Iraq War) we could have been in a good place now.

The Iron lady....may she Rust N Peace....

Glad she has gone. a bean feast for the British political class. Shame her death was used to political ends by the tory party.
All her policies are now coming home to roost, financial bankruptcy, housing shortages, the country in the grip of financial institutions, Britain with no industrial base, gas prices through the roof. increase in the divide between rich and poor.

Remember clause 28 first British anti gay law for 100 years

A great lady who did her best to put the Great back into a Britain which had become known as the sick man of Europe due to the dogma and incompetence of socialists. RIP.
She stands in the same league as Churchill, Roosevelt, Reagan and Kennedy

I did manage to watch and thought it was a great and fitting send off to the most sincere politician this country has seen since Winston Churchill. She and Ronald Reagan also made this world a much safer place for future generations. She put the Great back in Great Britian. We need someone like her now to sort out the current economical mess.
