Indeed I do. I started listening to it a couple of years ago and was drawn into a new world of wonderful music and creativity. Love Sarah Vaughan, Houston Person ( who is is 78 years old and still going strong), and Sonny Criss.
Oh so that would be Daniel Bennington from Linkin Park and there are at least two or more performance versions of Dangerous that are good. It's just the two that got released commercially SUCK!
Love it though I want to learn and listen to much more. Say my tastes swing back and forth as much as I do. From Metallica and Black Sabbath to Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong. As a matter of fact I just saw a clip of Buddy Rich for the first time in my life a few hours ago. Mindblowing. I can't wait to sit down and learn more about him. One of the ways rock n' roll has ever gone wrong was to not allow the influence of jazz more than it did in the past. Outside all of that I HATE rap and country music. I love blue grass, folk, blues, all of that but not those two genres. With that there might SOMETIMES be an exception. I like everything by Michael Jackson (but not the title track to "Dangerous" though there is a great performance version; everything else on that studio l.p. is mindblowing). I've learned to like Linkin Park over the past few years and even met the lead singer quickly after a show a couple of weeks ago as he is currently the lead singer for The Stone Temple Pilots until about now as he is doing a new studio l.p. with Linkin Park...and they have a remix l.p. coming out this month I think. Kewl, huh?

My Grandpa used to play jazz records and Cd's. I became obsessed with Buddy Rich. Best drummer ever.
Also my man George Foreman compared Boxing and Jazz saying "the better it is,the less people appreciate it."

I pretty much like all music with a few exceptions but I LOVE jazz, huge fan. Like Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Theolonious Monk, Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Brubeck and so many more. Art Blakey was awesome, check him out at 70 drumming with some of Europe's finest our jazz musicians, I especially like the rendition of Core by Freddie Hubbard, the 1st song.
