Gays Socially Awkward

<p>I ate lunch today at a sandwich shop, and in my usual manner, I eavesdropped on a near by conversation (There's no such thing as a private conversation in public). Anyway, I overhead two guys talking about how you can usually tell someone is guy when they're socially awkward.</p>
<p>I just found this interesting, and I wanted to hear what you all had to say. </p>

I am anti-social. By that I mean I am against it completely. Totally opposed. Have I made myself perfectly clear? Great, because I don't have a clue what the f--- I'm babbling about!

@2chill - gays are antisocial? you obviously haven't been to any gay nightclubs on a Friday or Saturday night! LOL - they are packed tight with very social gay guys having a great night on the town. Same with the saunas.

It's BS though. There was that gay guy who lived in our town who was life of the party and he was even a Cop. Well he was dressed as a COP anyway. And there was also an Indian.

Kevpunk, socially awkward describes fear of social interaction due to peer rejection, whether this rejection be real or imagined; as a result, the person has various degrees of uncomfortableness in various social settings. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) would describe it as social anxiety disorder (SAD) or social phobia. I don't know if they're saying gays are antisocial, Guynflint.

That's so stupid. Tons of gays are bubbly and flamboyant (we get in trouble for that too) and tons of straight guys are just shy.

Being socially awkward means you are gay? I had no idea the following people are gay - Bill Gates, Richard Branson, Gordon Brown, Prince Charles, Lindsey Graham (well, I've heard the rumours...), John Boehner, Mark Zuckerberg, Dan Rather, George HW Bush - you learn something new everyday! lol

what is socially awkward. do you mean shy maybe. that doesnt indicte if they are gay or not. lol. maybe the 2 guys you heard are struggling to come to terms with their sexuality

Haha oops. I meant, "I overhead two guys talking about how you can usually tell someone is GAY when they're socially awkward." I don't know if being socially awkward implies you're a guy either.
