Yeah, Groucho was cool. He had a tv show in the '50s called You bet your life. He had a latino guest who said he had 12 kids. Groucho shot back: "I like to smoke cigars too. But I take it out of my mouth every once in a while"! Priceless! N-yuk, N-yuk, N-yuk!

@Steelhammer ... agreed !! One of my favorite movie moments (of ANY film !!) is Roy Batty's monologue to Deckard at the end : " I've seen things you people wouldn't believe !!! " :-) Powerful !!!
The film is filled with stunning cinematography, great performances, and a thought-provoking commentary on what it is that makes us human.
BLADE RUNNER is listed by the American Film Institute as one of the
top 100 best films ever made .... and I couldn't agree more !! :-)

I cant say this is easy at all, i love so many movies for so many different reasons. I would say though that "The Game" 1998 Michael Douglas is an absolute must see. Dont ruin it for yourself by reading spoilers or synopses.

Gosh, I have read the whole blog here and it appears that Dracula is the only film mentioned I have even seen. Just not seen that many of the old movies I guess, I would offer The Shawshank Redemption as a possible choice for me.

I have seen the Godfather before, it was good, but not one i'd watch that often, the sound of music was excellent.

@NickBlack Godfather part 2 is really cool. The Revenge of Vito is amazing. He held that grudge for years and went back and sliced that old man who killed his family. "this is for you!"

The Godfather Part 2 is excellent - the way it switches between times and back again, and mixes historical facts with fiction.
