@thelionsblue you're absolutely right Jerry, Freddie Mercury is awesome, he died before i was born, but his music is still around and you can still hear we will rock you and we are the champions in every stadium every week

By the way Alan Scott is not real. He's a comic book character, No one called BS on me. But he is gay in the books.

Good question, I,d go for Andy Bell from Erasure. Always been open and comfortable with his sexuality, also written and performed 2 great songs 1, Hideaway and 2, boy. Awesome personality and beautiful singer as well.

On bad terms with the younger men
But old, young, age don’t carry weight
It doesn’t matter in the end"

He is old, he's admitted it. Stop trying to find shit where there isn't

You go SteelyMan! I have bottomed for Alexander the Great in my dreams. Guess that makes me thousands of years young! I better see the ghoul in the classic Darren McGavin tv flick The Night Strangler for some stay young brew. Carl Kolchak rocks! So does Walt Kowalski in Gran Torino! All these great men are Polish, ever notice that? Take Lech Walensa (sp), now he was what I call a giant of history! And Polish cuisine, now there's some real comfort food! Ever had gowamkies (sp) Polish stuffed cabbage? That will really stick to your ribs! Yum-Yum.

@coolcock
Well some covers are better than the original but some (Madonna) are awful.

@AcheronTheResurrected I know who Queen Victoria is does that show my age? Just because people know shit from the past dont mean they are old. It's good to know about things.

George Reeves? Showing your age, buddy.

About this time of day I read every blog for only one reason: to see what caustic coup de gras will be administered by George Reeves aka the ManofSteel! He never fails to deliver with his usual tongue in cheek irreverent brand of pitch black wit. Any one who doesn't acknowledge he is the undisputed oracle of GBT is either unconscious or comatose!

@coolcock Madonna did sing "American Pie" and she took all the soul and meaning from it and made it plastic and fake just like her.
Don Mclean made that song in the 70's and it was good. He's from my hometown.
