<p>In his Christmas Mass the Pope encouraged everyone to "open their hearts" to their fellow man; "..but if our heart is closed, if we are dominated by pride, deceit, self-seeking, then darkness falls within us and around us.." <br /><br />I somehow doubt this applies to those engaging in homophobia.</p>
