If you're lucky, you'll eventually be our age, so you might as well start learning about the pain and beauty and hope and hurt and heartbreak that comes with age. You are our past, so we might understand more than you think we do. If we forget or dismiss you as "too young to understand," slap some sense into us. It's one big beautiful gay world out there, and no matter our ages and age difference, let's share it together.

I'd happily trade all the sex I had as a younger man for more years with the man I'm now in love with and living with...:-)

Absolutely agree. Younger and older gays have a lot to learn from each other - so let's listen and talk to one another, and where better than on this site. As great as sex is it isn't everything, and looks are very fleeting. As Diana Vreeland, the great 'Vogue' editor once said: 'Anyone over twenty who looks into the mirror to be pleased is a fool'. Before young gays pin all their hopes on beauty and sex, they should remember that the human heart is a savage place, and that love all too often turns to hatred if it isn't underpinned by friendship and kindness. Have fun, yes, that's what youth is for, but learn to have fun in lots of different ways.

well said. at 23 i realize i'm not a teenager anymore. damm i miss those years. but my partner and i know we must face the future and plan to grow older together and surprise ourselves of our love as we age. just hope the sex drive never withers and that thine penis never fails.

Well-said :-) We've gone through many of the same things that the younger generation is going through now...at the same time, the younger ones have much they can teach my generation...all of us need to be open to it all.
