Regarding lube, some lubes have ingredients that are not very good for you. if you want to find out about this and how to use other natural products or make your own lube here is a good resourse.

The US CDC (Center for Disease Control) now recommends that all males 26 and under get the Gardasil series of shots. Gardasil helps prevent the most common strains of HPV (human papillomavirus). Up to 50% of sexually active adults have or have had HPV. Not everybody will get symptoms, but the most common is painful genital warts. There are some rare types of cancer in men that HPV can cause, like penile cancer, anal cancer and throat cancer. HPV can sometimes be spread orally, so condoms alone do not always prevent transmission. Gardasil is the most effective preventative.

Creating your own gay sex kit will mean you are always prepared, having whatever you want at hand. So what is a gay sex kit? Its a kit of esssentials and treats such as condoms, lube and sex toys. A lot of guys have them. Put together a kit with the essentials of condoms, some lubricants, a douche, sex toys such as a dildo or two with a few extras such as a G-spot massager, a masturbator, and anything else that arouses your sexual curiosity! It is worth having and they can provide you with tons of fun for solo play or full on gay sex. Here is an example of a great little sex kit:

Anal Douche
Tissues
Wet Wipes
Vitamin-E cream (for after ass play)

Extra Strong Condoms
Ultra Thin Condoms
Dotted Textured Condoms

Anal lubricant (large bottle)
Flavored Lubricants (Strawberry, Pina Colada, Vanilla)
Enhanced lubricant (tingle, warming, both small bottles)
Plus some Pocket Sized Lubricant sachets (Slip into your pocket when heading out!)

Rubber Cock Ring
Leather Cock Ring

Fleshlight Masturbator (ribbed and dotted sleeves)

Large Dildo
G-Spot/Prostate Vibrator

Nipple pumps
Anal Beads
Electro Stimulator
Leather Paddle

Condoms... More fun that you might realize!
An essential for safe sex but many gay guys aren't seeing the potential here for feeling more fun! Condoms come in many variations. They can give you and your partner a better sensation during anal sex... there is ribbed, flavored and some are covered in a lubricant that opens up a whole new world of anal sensation. A quick word of warning about condoms... You will need to use extra lubricant for anal sex as most condoms never have enough on them (again make sure it's not oil-based).

Lubricate!
A lot of guys get this one wrong... its either they don't use enough or they use none at all when having anal sex! Ouch! Always use and buy a silicone or water based lubricant! Oil based lube weakens the latex in condoms which can cause them to split during penetrative sex! There are a lot of really good lubricants out there. The flavor, sensation and slipperiness all differ! They are great fun so make sure you experiment with a couple of different condoms! Silicone lubricant or Water Based lubricant? Water-based lubricant is much easier to wash out of sheets, tastes better (more flavors) and all round less hassle when it comes to anal sex. It probably wouldn't do any harm to have a small tube of silicone lube handy for anal sex though. One thing to remember though is the higher quality lubes are more expensive.

A few things to consider with silicone lubricant:

Pros

They don't dry up meaning they stay slick for a long time as they don't contain water.

Better for people with sensitive skin. When there are no additive (flavors, scents, etc.) in the lubricant they rarely cause skin reactions.

Good for full body massage due to staying slick for a long time

As they don't break down in water so you can use them in the shower or bath.
Cons

Can't be used with silicone rubber sex toys. Use water based only for toys!

Some people don't like the feeling of it covering their skin. Leaves a feeling of being 'coated'

Difficult to wash out of sheets, etc as it isn't water soluble

Some have a bad taste!

Expensive, although one tube will last longer than a water based lubricant so it evens out the cost.

An anal douche as mentioned in Safe Sex

Use the bathroom before you get down to anal sex. It helps to douche and wash before getting down to penetration of any sort so you aren't overly conscious of anything untoward! It is best to douche about half an hour before hand.

Relaxing your ass and get yourself ready for taking an erect penis Is key to you enjoying and achieving maximum pleasure from anal gay sex! Using plenty of water-based lubricant will allow you to have a more comfortable session. Anal sex is enjoyable for both partners when it is done properly. It is slightly awkward to give good head and relax yourself at the same time so if you can encourage your partner to do it for you by giving him instruction either verbally or guiding his hand to your ass. In some situations anal relaxation is not a priority for the active guy nor is the passive partners experience of having sex. Using a butt plug can make all the difference to your session. There are a lot of butt plugs on the market in varying sizes, some are enhanced with vibrating mechanisms if you are feeling a little more daring

It’s a Small-ish World
Let’s face it. Most rides are fun, even if they’re not the biggest ones in the park. I can’t speak for everyone, but as far as I’m concerned, the chemistry between me and my guy is always a bigger thrill than his biggest parts. (And for what it’s worth, I’ve definitely dumped more than one guy who could lie down and hold up power lines if he had to.) What you need to remember: Every guy is concerned about size. No shocker there. So, reassure him with your enthusiasm. And if you need to, focus on the things that you adore about him. If I’m with a guy with great shoulders and some other more modest attributes, I keep those shoulders in my eye-line during sex for an added thrill – and I don’t hesitate to let him know just what a turn-on those shoulders are
