I second the suggestion to use VLC media player. A good all around free media player that seems to be able to play most any video. Find it at their parent site: videolan.org

Some video players can't, or don't support certain media files. A couple of solutions. 1) Download K-lite codec pack - http://www.os-downloads.com/klite/indexarc.htm 2)Try this media player - I haven't seen any file it wouldn't play - http://www.winstally.com/kmplayer/?lp=b01&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&matchtype=e&utm_term=34364027620&keyword=kmplayer&utm_campaign=US_EM_68230&utm_content=kmplayer&ad=KMPlayer%20Download&adid=4045272438&s=&t=&d=
