@Davey very nicely said! lol. And I totally agree with what you've said there too... the real part is on the inside, and that's what counts :)

They can think whatever they want to think about me. I've already heard it, and agree with some of it on some days. The only ones that matter are the ones that have the interest at whatever level, sex or not. For me, a ltr requires maturity of heart and mind, someone who can take care of himself. I'm not a caretaker, and I don't want to be taken care of at my current age.

@lionheart - I understand all that, but answer this - why doesn't it happen? ......single gay men in their 40s and 50s are plentiful...with a bit of effort you could have a dozen potential husbands by Monday morning...(their 'gratitude' alone would see you married by the end of the week! lol).....so why doesn't it happen? ...(ie: if 'everybody' is looking for love, why don't they all just pair up? LOL)...in my experience most gay men are much of a muchness - I am yet to meet anyone who is more than 5% different to anybody else - so "Mr Right" is just silly ......the 27 guys (or 127 guys) you date and reject as 'not Mr Right' are almost certainly all exactly alike, so to reject any of them is pointless - if a long term 'life partner' is what you seek........The most illogical thing in the World is the "single 40/50 something gay men who is sad because he doesn't have a long term partner"....all he has to do is walk into his local gay bar....see the dozen middle aged men there....(who are single and bemoaning not having a long term partner)....and pick one...simple as that! ....perhaps an answer to my question is: "because they like young men and wish they had the money to afford one"? (just a thought).....if anyone in their 40s or 50s 'really' wants a long term partner they can find one in about 5 minutes.

@mophead2009 - Same here, I don't have a wallet either, I prefer 'readies' - carrying large wads of cash in my pocket

Wow.. I never expected so many replies to this one hahaha. Giles.. you'll always be great in my eye.. one thing for sure is that you are down to Earth, friendly and caring. That's worth a lot more than anything. As for all of you who are 40+ (or even 60+) I truly mean what I have always said: you'll always have a place in my heart here.. and a lot of respect. Ever since the day I did that singing event it really has lifted my spirits hahaaa. I wonder if my spirit guide will be cross for how I acted? lmao!!!!

@jase. Unlike all too many well hung boys here, I like to show my modesty by putting myself down with witty wry humor. Big cock, small ego! :))

@weenathan, haha, please explain your user name.

@jase. Not going to touch that w/ my yardstick! :))

Well according to some guys on here I suppose I should curl up in a corner and die because of my age - I may be 65 but I can still cycle, run, swim and generally enjoy my life.As the title of the blog says age is just a number - I know lots of guys half my age who couldn't run 10 yards but there is always those guys that think older guys have nothing to offer. At least I have managed to live to 65 - reckon a lot of guys on here will not be so lucky.

i'm glad guys of all ages can share here. some bring maturity, others bring immaturity. some of the nicest people i know on here are more than twice my age. i think it is kewl to have friends like that because they aren't just interested in your dick.
