<p>Like many others, I got the same abusive message, but mine was anonymous so I could not reply even if I had wanted to.

The message was most likely from that troll alexx17. His profile was deleted, that's probably why it was anonymous. Even if you could have replied, I think it's best not to do so. Acknowledging such messages only encourages the sender, best to ignore them.
