In Honor of Pride...in Honor of the fighers at Stonewall...in honor for all that have fought so hard to get where we are....in honor of those that gave their lives along the way...may we never forget our history...may we continue to make a better history for those that follow behind us.

I have attended the local Pride many times here, but have never walked the parade. The parade route here is about a mile and a half in length. And to my amazement...as the first of the groups arrived at the festival...the last group was just beginning its journey...a mile and a half of people celebrating being who the are...Gay, Lesbian, Bisexuals, Transgender, Allies...and many more....was more moving than I expected. And am glad I walked with them...and for them..and for those yet to come.
