<p>This was unsolicited but soliciting! Since then the 'user' seems to have disappeared from the site and I didn't get his name. I assume that this is some sort of scam and I haven't gone for it. Anyone else had one or am I uniquely blessed? Should we be on the look out for more similar.</p>

Just got the same today....his name is Lukas Monti....I think it is a stored message...typing that lot out, to everyone would be some task..could be to get your bank account details..???.......from.......DAVE.....

I had the same message. He had a avatar of a kid named Mikey for tumbler. I told him I use to follow mikey and if he was him I would be glad to do what he wanted. No reply. Guess he wasnt mikey. If anyone knows his tumblr account let me know. I lost track of him.

I got one also - funny thing was he had made dozens of "friends" here in the short space of time he was up and running and doubtless was trying it with them as well.I asked him some awkward questions to which I got no reply.

I got one, sent it to Nick, didn't open it, thought it was fishy and could be a mask for a cyber attack of some sort.

I got this too and immediately sent a message to Nick, who presumably deleted the account. It seemed like a complete scam to me - the best thing is to tell Nick asap and warn others, as yo have done.
