You.

You did it, you took everything from me when I had nothing. You found my heart and slipped right it, a deadly bee-sting.

A needle prick. That was all I felt at first. But that little hole you left filled and filled and finally burst.

An explosion. You left me in shreds, disgusting, cold, nothing there. When we were young, you gave me a lock of your hair.

A token. Something to hold on to. To remind me that even when you were away I'd never be apart from you.

Liar. How could I believe in us, when I asked you where you went with him you said to just trust.

Fire. It's all I can relate to, you lit it when you said you'd be here always. But you put it out in me.

Heart-shaped ashtrays. That's what men like me are, you cut us open and leave nothing. Just a scar.
