I tried VLC player 2x and had problems with it both times. I've been using GOM player for a couple of years now and like it a lot.

I have never tried the VLC player but I know one thing for sure, Real Player Cloud sucks!!!!!!!!! Damn thing crashed most of the time and takes forever to load, just a real POS in my opinion.

I have been using GOM Player like forever, and have had no problems playing almost any file type and length. it is free and easy to install and download. http://download.cnet.com/GOM-Media-Player/3000-13632_4-10551786.html

When you download, uncheck the adware boxes.

I totally agree with Lunarwill, VLC Media Player plays files some other players won't! Works nicely with Windows and works for me every time!

The best I've found is VLC media player. It is "no frills," and ideal for watching multiple files at the same time. http://www.videolan.org/

I don't have any luck when it comes to huge video files playing through an FLV program. I would rather convert it and play it through windows media. You can get a quick download for a FLV player anywhere online even through your internet browser
