Interesting, and thanks for posting, but full of half-truths as is most psychotherapy canon. There may be gay men who are "internalizing cruelty from society and projecting it onto other gay men." There are also gay men who are genuinely completely shallow and self-centered, and not willing to extend kindness to others who don't fit a dominant paradigm (this has nothing to do with being attracted to someone or wanting to have sex with them. You can still extend kindness and compassion to someone without wanting to do those things). There is also the peculiar judgment of some gay men against others whose proclivities might not match their own, or what they consider to be currently socially acceptable (this was not always the case). Again thanks for the post, but this, to me, is a bit of a silly reduction of a very complex issue. Best wishes.
