I thought some of you might be interested, particularly if you are younger, as an example of how far we have come.
"The CBS news poll shows that 2 out of 3 Americans look upon homosexuality with disgust, discomfort, or fear."

We have come a long way because people are finally starting to realize that whether or nor the person you love is of the same sex should not even factor it to someone getting married. Marrige to me at least is a binding contract between to parties who wish to be together because they love each other till such a time that they do not, or one or both parties are deceased.

This is great viewing, thanks Lunarwill! Good for old guys like me to see (to see how far we've come in our own lifetimes); and good for young guys here to see, to help them realize that, "Of course gays should be able to get married, why not?", was NOT a popular opinion back in around 1970 and before.

I LOVE that there's a short snippet by Gore Vidal around 32 minutes in. One great read, which I'd highly recommend to all, is Vidal's book from 1948, The City and the Pillar. It's one of my favorite books: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_City_and_the_Pillar .

I'm sure JT's right. Looking forward to watching this; I saw just a snippet of this on my videotape of "The Lavender Lens" (which is a snippet-collection of LBGT portrayals in movies & on TV), but maybe a minute of this, not 44!

That 1967 CBS poll was skewed: No one thought too ask all the cocksuckers for their opinions. : )
