I honestly can't stomach seeing meat - cooked, raw, or otherwise - these days.  Especially chicken.  I won't go into details.  If one person does it with me I'll do it.  If more than one person agrees to it, as a bonus, I'll go completely vegan for the week.

Hi sorry I have not been on, wifi problems. How did your week go? It was not to bad here, though I am heartily sick of lettuce we have way too much I don't know what my parents were thinking when they bought that much.

oh i would love to teach you how to cook varying meat dishes . we need meat to keep the brain active . when this happens we can keep the brain active enough to realy think things out

Excellent guys! I'd love to hear the results (what you each went through). I had a Canadian e-friend once who went "fruitarian" for awhile (because supposedly all there was to eat in the Garden of Eden was fruit etc.) and had an interesting story afterwards.

i love my sausage too much to give up meat. seriously, we don't each much beef, mostly chicken and seafood.

We have a deal then Joel, one week without meat starting tomorrow! Should be interesting thankfully I am not that big on meat anyways I am a big sweets person.

must admit I am trying hard to cut down on meat...2 days only last week... chilli - might have to start trying quorn or soya mince...

Thank goodness there are lots of ways to get by these days: soy milk (ehh, I prefer the next 2), almond milk, coconut milk, coconut-yogurt (which I can't find anymore in stores), veggie-burgers, veggie-hotdogs, NUTS & LEGUMES (peanut butter is my favorite food), mushrooms, and lots of great fruits.

Sorry you're getting so many "not me" responses (basically), Joel. I myself am a vegetarian (do eat fish and cheese & eggs), but I cheat about once a month with Taco Bell drive-thru (I should be too embarrassed to say that I break it with Taco Bell...). **If you want to become a vegan for a week, I'll be glad to do it with you.** (So we'd have no fish or dairy or eggs or honey etc., along with the no-meat.) I've been wanting to HAVE the energy to go ahead and be vegan for a long time now. We'd just have to be conscientious with labels (everything pre-packaged seems to have pork-fat, butter, milk solids, etc. in it...) etc.; one main reason I'm not vegan is that I haven't yet found great-tasting faux-cheese, I'm in love with cheese. Let me know if you want to join with me.

Joel that is how my mom felt after she took her parisitology course she was vegatarian for a good three years after that. When would the week start?

I applaud your desire to try to change. I've been Vegan for 7 years, and happy not to contribute to the suffering of innocent creatures. Best wishes to you.

Ikr. This is going to sound disgusting but, I'm in gross anatomy now and our cadaver smells like fried chicken. The tissue, everything looks like left over KFC you'd pull out of your refrigerator. I don't know if I'll ever be able to eat chicken again. Sorry for being crude, but its true..
