"Think he's clean" is like playing Russian roulette. The only safe way to have anal sex without a condom is if 1) you are in a monogamous relationship; 2) you both trust each other to never, ever cheat; and 3) you have tested at least twice at least 3-4 months apart. I'd add that couples with nothing to hide should continue to test ever 3-4 months.
