How to rotate a video that's going wrong way?

Blog Last Activity 8 years ago 364 views 12 comments

Does anyone know how to "fix" a video (like e.g. the new one here http://www.gayboystube.com/video/415162/cute-couple-dancing ) if it's vertical but needs to be horizontal, or the other way around?  Either 1) a website or computer-program where you upload the video and then can "rotate" it to the left or right or even upside-down

You're funny, DAVE™, but I don't have a pad or iPhone like you do! (But, get this, I had a Plan C for just in case A & B — iMovie or Movie Maker — didn't work out. Plan C was to save up a bunch of addresses of "sideways videos", then turn my MONITOR (which for iMacs = the whole skinny computer, not to brag) to the left and bring out the popcorn and enjoy them all!) "Woo-Hoo!"

Good job :) I've downloaded a few videos that I later had to rotate left or right. Looks better when it gets posted here.

Yay! iMovie works on Macs/iPads (you do have to download the video first, then rotate it). And MovieMaker works on Windows per Jerrod.

Thanks. I'll try that 2nd; it reminds me of what I should try 1st — see if my own iMovie (which obviously I've never used before) will do it or not....

Anyway, I wanted to add that I'm on a "dumb old computer" (iMac), don't have a cellphone or an iPad or anything else where you might could do that inside the machine.

(Dang it, as always my blog has been truncated. Which is really strange that mine always is, whereas anyone else here has the ability to put 5000 words into a blog intro if they want....)
