Wow Sam!!! Our business agreement is still valid! Only two small details you forgot: The Eureka Tower's weight is 200.000 tonnes (maybe it's keeping Australia there Down Under?) and the Skydeck lifts/elevators travel over 9 meters per second. Vital information and I trust what my souvenir T-shirt which is bought from Skydeck supermarket is saying. Only problem is now the prizes of today's quiz... I think I can solve this problem. Thank You all and see you tomorrow with a new target:)

The Eureka Tower is a skyscraper located in Melbourne, Australia.

It is the tallest residential skyscraper in Australia with 300 meters high, if one does not take into account the Q1, which measures 323 meters high but the height of the top floor is located only 240 meters.

Begun in August 2002, its construction was completed on 1 June 2006 to officially open October 11, 2006.

In strong winds, the top of the tower may have a slope up to 60 cm. To prevent excessive lateral movement, two 300 m3 of water tanks were placed at 90th and 91st floors.

Its name comes from the gold rush that made the fortune of the city around 1850. This historical episode is also symbolized by a section of gilded panels 24k within ten floors of the tower and a group of bees gold adorning the terrace above the main gate. A vertical red stripe recalls the blood spilled during the revolt gold miners against the government. The white horizontal lines evoke pins on a surveying tool.

The floor 88 is entirely observation point (Skydeck 88) and allows you to admire the city at 285m in height. Access is charged.
