Mecca (Arabic مكة makka) is a city in western Saudi Arabia, near the hinge separating the Hejaz Asir, 80 km from the Red Sea, and capital of the province of Mecca .

I think it's Mecca in Saudi Arabia. I had never seen the city from this angle though, interesting!

Clearly, that's Mecca . Medina, Saudi Arabia. And that is The Prophet's Mosque, the burial place of Muhammad. A place of worship for pilgrims from around the world. (J T)
