whats the best free player to play videos, running windows 10, cant get the videos to play, so tried downloading them ,still cant get them to play, help

VLC Media Player for me. The problem with videos playing has nothing to do with the OS imho.
VLC Media Player always works for damn near everything :)
I use Realplayer and that works great.

Couldn't agree more with VLC never had a problem with it and it plays anything you can throw at it
I haven't switched to Windows 10 yet, but I've used vlc media player for years and been very happy with it, as it plays every format I need. I just checked their website and they do have a version for Windows 10.
