I did a bad thing and it hangs heavy on me this morning. Yesterday I was hanging out at a little Deli coffee shop. It wasnt very busy and I was chatting up the very cute guy behind the counter Tyler. We hit it off he was 19 and hot as a firecracker so I decided to ask what time he got off. We made arrangements for me to meet him back at the shop at 8:00 I walked about a half a mile down the road to a Super8 and got a room for the night Showered and cleaned up real good. Went back at 8:00 met Tyler. He had a car so we went to an Applebees and had the two for $20. Had a great dinner and lots of laughs. Decided to go to a show, I wanted to see the Expendables 2 movie so we went to it but when we came out Tyler had a flat and there were 4 gangbanger types leaning against the car. They started saying crap about gays and they didnt want us in their theaters go back to the stroll. ( Tyler later explained that's the known gay bar area this is the burbs) This kid was scared to death, he was 5 10 perhaps 145 dripping wet. I told him to give me the keys in go back into the theater I would change the tire. As he started to they began pushing him. I am not a big guy, I have lost a lot of my bulk simce getting out of the service, but I am still 6 1 and 180 so I stepped between them. I tried I swear I tried to calm the situation down, seems thay had seen us in applebees and followed us. I told tyler to go call the cops and thats when it all went to hell. One of them hit him in the face, and he went down. Next thing I saw was this beautiful young face with blood gushing from his nose and tears pouring from his eyes and him screaming theyre gonna kill us theyre gonna kill us! I snapped, I havent raised a hand in anger since Iraq. I swore I never again. Suddenly I was in boot again, next thing I know they were all on the ground and the cops were there and I was being handcuffed. Luckly at the station Tyler backed up my story and the other guys had previous charges. The cops also took my military Serevice into account. Hell they even sent a tow out and had Tyler's tire changed. Of course now he is frightened of me and we decided to part as friends and not lovers. I cant get it out of my mind how I snapped, how I resorted to violence and it just came out as a reflex. Does that make me dangerous, or a psycopath? Am I a bad person, I feel terrible that I couldnt reason with those people, they were just misguided, I should have been able to reach them not beat them senseless. As a fellow soldier have you ever faced anything such as this? A confused Tommy

I was told this was blogged before. But I thought it would be fun to do again. It doesn't have to be the last song you listened to. It can be any song you like. 

 

So he turns 18, and 9 days later has purchased two (yes two) assault style guns and extended capacity magazines and 22 people are dead, mostly 3rd and 4th graders. Children who will ever experience that magical first love, that first car, that first victory on the sports field, that first time Mom or Dad says "I'm so proud of you" at graduation, that first job when the boss says "good job, I'm glad I hired you", none of those "life's greatest moments" things that most of us here can fondly remember--REALLY? In today's world of school shootings and violence, he's able to waltz right into an elementary school through an apparently unlocked door--REALLY?  When help (law enforcement) arrives at the school they wait an hour (that's 1 hour, 60 minutes, eternity if you're a child watching your classmates being gunned down) before entering to stop the carnage--REALLY? According to the Sheriff they "couldn't gain access", but when the Border Patrol TAC Team arrived, they used a key provided by the principal to enter--REALLY?  Where was that principal/key during that one hour wait, stepped out for lunch--REALLY? At least one distraught parent was handcuffed for asking about her child while the shooter was still roaming freely about a room full of dead kids he had killed.  How many of those kids, even if badly wounded would have been saved by prompt medical attention during that "golden hour" medical first responders refer to--REALLY?  The story line of this tragedy as told by law enforcement has already changed twice and we're only three days into the aftermath--REALLY? There's a news video of Senators and their entourages scurrying into their offices like prairie dogs during a hawk attack when approached by reporters for comments on the shootings--REALLY?  NRA spokespersons have already rolled out the "guns don't kill people, people kill people" oldy but goody, and are chanting the Second Amendment in unison, while standing under the giant marque' advertising their Texas (ironic?) soiree that states, among other things "ACRES OF GUNS AND GEAR"--REALLY? The Great Orange Oracle is scheduled to bestow his vast knowledge of nothing and blather about everything on attendees, and it is boldly stated that all firearms, etc. will be banned while he's there.  Kind of strange since firearms aren't the problem according to the Conservatives and NRA shills--REALLY? Twitchy Teddy (Cruz) was asked by a foreign correspondent why it seems the USA has all of these gun violence problems when other countries don't, and immediately started accusing the correspondent of having a "political agenda" and stalking off muttering "may God bless you...".  Actually Teddy, its those dead kids and their surviving loved ones who you should be seeking "blessings" for--REALLY!

For clarity, I support the Second Amendment in principal, I don't want to "take" anyone's legal (and reasonable) guns, I own two long guns (family heirlooms, not AR-15's), I believe comprehensive background checks and waiting period laws (neither of these are "taking your guns") that are universal USA wide and stringently enforced USA wide (yes, this means Texas too) can help decrease gun violence. I have no understanding of why any citizen needs to own assault style weapons or high capacity magazines, except for the "mine's bigger than yours" syndrome?!

No, I do not hate law enforcement, we see videos on the news daily/weekly of police officers and first responders rescuing victims from wrecks, fires and other tragedies while putting their own lives in danger--true heroes! However, when a number of police (you know, the guys with tactical and armored vests, big guns of their own, equipment to "access" barricaded areas and other technology) wait an hour to access an area where fourth graders are being slaughtered I'm not going to call any of them "heroes"--REALLY!!!

Another 8 people will not be coming home from school again. They died because they went to  school this morning.. Trump says to send them our hearts and prayers.  I'm all prayed out. It appears that our lilly-livered president and congress  will do nothing but talk again.  They will only do something of their children or grandchildren become involved

I frequently lurking GBT and using it's random/ Being Watched function or mentioned videos, sometimes seeing old stuff again or in hope of finding some, that I don't know already. Watching old videos I come along with some strange issues. There are Videos that are broken, in rare cases they don't play in most cases that appears, there are only few seconds (like 2 or 3) of the video (mayby its the gif that is created as thumbnail and played instead), but in the preview it speaks of a couple of minutes of playtime and you can easy see, that they aren't intended to be shorties.

Easy Explanation for all these cases: The Video that should linked to the GBT-Entry isn't there anymore or the link is simply broken, but I can't figure out a pattern. If they were deleted by purpose it is strange, that the Entrys still there and you can find them in the search and can watch their URL. But it cannot be some sort of expiring, too. Clearly old videos mostly affected by this, especially older then 3 or 4 years and getting a higher chance with increasing age, but also even only 3 years old clips appears in this state. It's kind of strange.

I constantly flag them, mostly in hope the file is mayby still there and the link could be simply reestablished; but cleaning is also a good thing leads, so you less likely stumble in dead ends surfing the site. Because I had especially in the last weeks many cases I decided to open a blog dedicated to post broken videos, to keep some sort of a personal record ^^

Theres this little box on everybodys profile that asks you to list your *turn offs* If you can't figure out a way to answer that without putting people down because of their age or race or body shape or because they are not what you consider *masculine*, then please do not invite me to be your friend. Prejudiced people are a turn off for me.

<p>I'm getting very bothered by the hate campaign some people are organizing against a young strange guy posting here, everyone knows who I guess. Seeing that makes me really sad. I hate bullies. They made me suffer a lot when I was a kid, I don't wanna see that here. I don't know what to do, I think I'll probably just stop making videos for this site and remove my account, as I don't want to share something so personal with that bunch of bullies. They are allready insulting me for the few comments I posted to help the kid, so what's next? I'm quite disappointed.</p>
