Being gay is a good thing Surferboi. Just like being straight is a good thing, or being a woman, a man, a black, or whatever you are.... it is a good thing. It should not make you unhappy. It is something for you to celebrate! Thank God that you are gay. It is who you are. It is the way God created you. It is who and what He wants you to be. That is a good thing. There is nothing wrong with you. Fully accept this in your heart and your mind. These things are all true. God wants you to celebrate what He has created. If someone cannot accept these facts then that is their problem, not yours. It is their misunderstanding. That may make you unhappy, because we all need acceptance, especially from those who matter the most to us. But don't let them bring you down or destroy you just because you are not who or what they want you to be. Yes, be sad for them and for their lack of understanding, knowledge, and wisdom. Pray for them. And then continue celebrating the beautiful gay person that you are, that God made you to be. You have so many wonderful experiences to look forward to. A long lifetime of them.
