Greetings and happy weekend from Phnom Penh, Cambodia

After sitting and trying to sleep in the bus about 24 hours from Vientiane to Phnom Penh I finally arrived here yesterday evening. This city is quite different than Vientiane,

congested and noisy but very interesting. I found 2 gay bars here yesterday evening! In Laos not possible. Mekong river is passing through the city and the river bank is

full of ancient pagodas (temples), bars, restaurants and The King's Castle, in the picture. People again very friendly and helpful but lots of poor people in the streets as beggars.

Tomorrow visit to the Killing Fields, its history is not very nice but must to see what Pol Pot made to this country's citizens... Another horror story here in Southeast Asia.

Happy and relaxing weekend to all my friends from the Kingdom of Cambodia (in khmer language ព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា, Preăh Réachéanachâk Kâmpŭchéa). Hugs Jay

you've posted many nice photos and I must admit as a traveller, I am somewhat ignorant of your country. You Jayden have made me put your country on my "bucket list " lol. Love the pics thanks for sharing.

24 hr trip on a bus is roughly a trip from Chicago to N.Y.C. or Washington, D.C., both of which I've done, so I understand your weariness and a good drink in a friendly bar would be in order after that. Gorgeous architecture Jayden. Are you traveling to Myanmar by chance? I'd love to travel this area of the world...wonderful Buddhist culture.

Hi Jake. My blog is only because I have holiday from school, it's different with another schools and areas. So now I save some money to take this trip to neighbour countries because

as an Asean member we dont need visa to entry another Asean country. Just ID card is enough. No need passport. I think same like in EU. 20th August back to school...:( thanks to you and take care and of course big hugs:) Jayden

It is beautiful, I wish more cities would keep this sort of aesthetics in mind.
