I think the "bad guys" are those who seek to impose tyranny on others; take their guns, their religion, their money through taxes, their families, their gender, their freedoms - just because the bad guys don't like people who have guns religion families and money.
Who say don't eat hamburgers, or drink booze, or smoke cigarettes, or 1001 other things, because "we" say it's bad for you.
Anyone, on either side, who attempts to take something away from another person, or impose their will on another person - just because they want to - is a "bad guy".
Proof of "bad guy-ism" are the usual claims it is in the best interests of everyone else, or to "protect" people, or because to do so is "modern", or that there is one particular group who are so abhorrent we can make an exception in their case.
Those who demand the Government force someone to bake a cake are just as bad as those who hate the cake recipients.
The "good guys" - and the ONLY people who are good guys - are those who welcome the e pluribus unum brought about by tolerating those they don't like very much, and insisting the rights of everyone be upheld.
When you demand the 1st Amendment for the Westboro Church loons be respected then you are a good guy - and only then, however distasteful such a thing may be.
