dog's name

This will probably be the stupidest post I've done on here.  But, before I go to bed, I have to do this.

Two nights ago, one of my dreams was related to an airport layover I'd had in Philadelphia in August.  Part of the dream was that, I guess it was actually not an airport but either a train station or subway station, and while I waited for the vehicle to come I witnessed some guys rescuing their dog who jumped on the tracks and they got him off of them.

OK, their name for the dog was "GayBoy", that's what they called it plus how they referenced it when they spoke to me afterward.

I thought it was a cute name (certainly unique) for a dog while I was sleeping;  and when I awoke immediately after, I laughed at the name, but also thought it was a cute / cool name for this dog (you had to "see" him?), it fit him somehow.

Anyhow, I'm about ready to end my "I'm between dogs" drought, after my loss of 2 years ago.  (Maybe, if I get one;  I wonder if I should get a small dog instead of a large one, or maybe just get a cat or something.)  Would welcome any interesting feedback you guys would have, about my wondering (if I don't keep the dog's already-name) if I should consider calling him (if a male) GayBoy.  I think it's cool, but again it was just a cool dream, and maybe I should just leave it with that.

Why not call him "Rover"?

If it's a boy & he already has a name (which is likely), I could just call him GayBoy as a "nickname", I've always given my dogs (which have all been girls) nicknames.
