I LOVE the film: CALL ME BY YOUR NAME.  Gentle, tender. addresses the topic respectfully, touches base with what MANY, MANY teens have experienced.  J.T. 

Now that I think about it, a film called Beautiful Thing had a big impact on me in the mid 90’s, and their was another great film that I can’t remember the title of? It was a British film about a young man who was a bare knuckle boxer who tries to come to terms with his homosexuality, I think it had Roger Daltry in it, it was really good and in the days before I could get hold of gay porn, it had a couple of wank-worthy sex scenes.

Mysterious Skin , Sugar , My Own Private Idaho , Party Monster , L.I.E. , Our Lady of the Assassins , Breakfast on Pluto , Naked Lunch , , Color Me Kubrick , Hustler White , Satyricon , Otto ;or What's Up With Dead People , Gerontophilia  ALL spring right to mind 

I agree with delonge;  Sommersturm is very hot. So too is Clapham Junction.

Gods own country. I saw it on Netflix earlier this year, a raw and honest and actually very emotive film. By contrast, I also saw Call me by your name which was Oscar nominated and has had critics banging on about it all year, I thought it was a bit dull, not very romantic, and aside from Timothy Chalamet walking around with his shirt off for half the movie, underwhelming.
