WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—For the third year in a row, Donald J. Trump has been named Person of the Year by the magazine Popular Sociopath, the publication announced on Thursday.

“Once a year, we at Popular Sociopath recognize the person who best epitomizes sociopathic-personality disorder, which manifests in antisocial behavior and a total absence of conscience and concern for others,” Harland Dorrinson, the magazine’s editor, said. “We are delighted to bestow this honor, once again, on Donald J. Trump.”

Dorrinson said that Trump bested a daunting roster of competitors for the title, including the Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell; the Fox News host Tucker Carlson; and Trump’s own son Donald J. Trump, Jr.

“Honestly, though, it wasn’t close,” the editor said.

When asked if he had reached out to his son since surpassing him for the magazine’s honor, Trump told reporters, “Why would I do that? I don’t care what he thinks or feels. This is all about me. What a stupid question. You’re worthless.”

10 Reasons that You Should Not Vote Republican

1. They think corporations should pay little or no tax while you pay more.

2. They think cutting taxes on the wealthy is more important than providing a social safety net for the poor which include families, seniors and veterans.

3. They have no problem funding wars but they don’t feel it’s necessary to make sure that veterans are taken care of when they come home.

4. They cut funding for education while subsidizing private and charter schools.

5. They think reducing regulations on big banks is good for the economy.

6. They think that redistricting and other methods of voter suppression is a good idea.

7. They think that $7.25 is a living wage and that if you earn minimum wage it’s because you are lazy and really don’t want to work hard.

8. They think that if you are unemployed it’s because you want to be.

9. They think that they deserve $196 an hour while you don’t deserve $10 an hour.

1o. They continually bash the Affordable Care Act even though the FACTS say that it is working and they would rather see the people of their states go without adequate health care than adopt the program.

Trump is a weird, irrational guy focused on a past economy that few developed countries still maintain, but the world has never been so at peace. He is essentially practical in international affairs, not being a conventional politician. He appeased the crazy north Korean dictator, Iran was put in its proper place and the crisis with Chinese trade is pure rhetoric from a great negotiator and businessman, who knows that the U.S. has a big deficit and paid to see the cards on the other side. Certainly, with Trump the U.S. will come out stronger from this trade imbalance. The rest is a joke, but no one is perfect. What only worries me is his denial to act rationally with the climate issue.
