One of these boys caught my interest, he reminds me very much of "the boy", I met in 85, I had just arrived back in Connecticut from attending the gay parade in NYC, it was late and my friends decided to make last call at the local bar. They went inside and I stayed out in the parking lot talking to some guys, when a boy came up that I had met recently, and he had a friend with him, a sixteen year old newcomer to the street boy scene, and he was a moneymaker, sweet and clean, a face to die for. Immediately I propositioned him for the next night at my place. He came, I fell in love, and for the next 12 years, it was an explosive rollercoaster, ending badly with hard core drugs, and past abuses that caused him extreme guilt. Pretty boys don't always have the life we would imagine. I haven't seen him in many years, but he is still around, in and out of jail, looks terrible. Broke my heart.
