We did this in 7th grade, where we were required to dress out for PE (gym class) and shower afterward. Most of us were as smooth as the floor, but a few boys were more developed with hair and sizeable genitalia. Coach Jensen caught us and gave us a stern warning, threatening us with detention and telling us how we could split our head open, yada yada yada. We never did it again, but at least we all felt more comfortable naked around each other. That comfort led to other activities that were way more fun.
