I was 24 my first time with another male (he was 18). I have read and chatted with guys that started at 14, 15, 16 etc...is there an age to start acting on your homosexuality or do you just know when it's the right time? Let me know your thoughts...

I knew at around 6 or 7, that I liked boys. I didn't know what that meant, of course. I only knew that it was 'wrong' and I didn't tell anyone about my feelings. At about age 9, my sister's friend's brother got me to wank him off, he was about 15. I loved doing that, and it happened about four or five times. He never did anything to me though. He disappeared shortly after, and I have no idea, to this day, what happened to him. Nobody would talk about him. I then tried to put all such thoughts out of my mind, (without success), and I got married. The thoughts and feelings never went away. My first real sexual experience with a guy was only a couple of years ago, after many years of marriage. I don't regret marrying, but wish I'd been more honest with myself when I was younger. The right time for me would have been to have come out in my teens or twenties, although it was not so easy then as it is now, it was much less accepted back then. I succumbed to family expectations, and took the 'easy' route.

well firstly you come to know. i know when i first see billy elliot that im not only boy who likes another boy like kiss him. then you need be strong enough to like say, 'ok im this way' and more you see others i think it easier to come out. i do think younger people need have awareness of support, but too many adults pushing them to come out is not so good. each person need do what best for them. its their life. now i think is easier. i know it easier than for like me uncle, and we owe a lot to the older guys who have done a lot to make it better. ok some get rude. most just nice and been thro more crap than us. all of us have been boys. never forget that boy in you, specially if he was hurt or sad. it now is better and a lot of help if just go for it! now for shameless plug ~ http://trevortalktome.org

Human Development....children have attachments and friendships to same-sex gender friends from an early age..they "grow up together". after that stage, most all younger children experiment in same-sex acts...at this point, when they start having sex in any form, they will have sex with whomever they are comfortable with...after that, most people move on to heterosexual relationships, starting with the "like" phase in the teens...it is My Belief, that some people just do not move on to any other stage...is it born that way? idk but, what I do know is that this does happen and I speak from experience...first nailed a friends butt at 12/13...went on to chase girls thru 18/21, never caught any...began crusing guys 22 thru 32, and then gave up...10 years Therapy experience and considering writing a book..lol..seriously though...mostly, I am content just knowing all this.

I must have been about 9-10 when I used to play doctors with my mate and loved it. I always got hard from it. i was 13 when i had my first gay experience with a 16yr old who lived next door.it was illegal then, but i did know i was gay at 12 but had to keep it a secret, so there is no exact age when you know you are gay

I think everyone has an age that they reach that they know is right for them. Some guys start young and some guys start a little older. It just depends on the person.
