Does Renee Zellweger (Bridget Jones Diary and Miss Potter) count as famous..she and Ewan McGregor were staying in the hotel for several weeks whilst filming Miss Potter on location in the Lakes...i had the pleasure of meeting them on a number of occasions as hotel deputy manager...

The high point in my youth was meeting Senator George McGovern and Sargent Shriver during the 1972 presidential campaign. It was the first campaign I ever got to work and vote in. But perhaps the biggest influence on me, was meeting Abbie Hoffman in 1968 at the Democratic Convention riots and protests in Chicago.

Richard Branson. Such a down to earth and humbling man. He dresses like an everyday man and speaks in such a calm manner. Very awesome man.

I was an adult who accompanied a large group of kids to Neverland to spend the day with Michael Jackson. He was there and was a gracious soft-spoken host. I got to shake his hand and talk with him briefly.
