The next-door neighbour, who helped an elderly widow with her daily chores, was left with a ‘thank you’ gift of eight million pounds.
Sydney widow Betty Harris, who died at the age of 95, left her entire estate, worth $12.5 million (£8.18 million) to her neighbour Beatrice Gray....

That's the American Lottery .. Powerball they call it. Us Canadians can't play it .. wish I could.
It doesnt have to be family at all.It could be a close friend or someone that has
been there for you thro thick and thin.
When i was younger,I rented a Room in a Big House in A wealthy suberb.
The Old lady that owned the house, was getting old and she needed lots of
help around the house.I was convinced that she had no family to help her
out.She eventually had 3 strokes and had the need for more help and i
was happy to help out.She eventually passed away and to my surprise the
day after she died,Her house was swarming with family and relatives.
I just couldnt believe it and i wanted to get stuck into them.
But i didnt want to cause a scene. I learnt alot, that day about how elderly
people can be on their own and feel forgotten by the world.
So spare a thought for those people that are on their own and dont
forget them.
