A good friend of mine was teling me bout a dude on here he becamse friend with; they were exchanging pics an chatting - as u do - an one day arranged to meet.

My friend has jus turned 16 an this other guy said he was 22; anyway when they met this dude was the same age as his Dad! 42!

So jus posting this to tell teens to b a bit careful if u r goin to be meet ing up with guys u meet online; u nevr know who is who. U never know who is a weirdo or pervert or kinda dangrous.

2 years ago my friend who was 14 was on an app called meetme:) and he put pics of him and a few pics of places around his house and someone who said that they were 14 year old girl asked him who his friends were and what school he went to then 2 months later my friend goes missing, he was raped lots of times by 3 men, the police they found him 6 months later and he has never left his house after he was found

There intention is never to have sex but to trap and blackmail. But can't help it if you are fixed with this "poor innocent 16 yr old image" I say this because I have seen victims on both sides young as well as old. If you feel that this is a "mischievous prank of a 16 yr old" then what I have seen is the victim of their prank ruined forever - family, work, social circle etc. And society is no narrow minded that when it comes to mere accusation people are ready to give guilty verdict. These same "innocent 16 yr olds" end up in prison on charges of rape when they end up having sex with girls on Friday night because the next morning the girl wakes up and goes to police to say "I was too drugged up to say yes to sex, he raped me". I work in ghettos and know them well - drugs, gangs weapons etc.

I would also warn older males to be very careful of some younger guys too. I preempt that my comment would elicit a very unfavourable response because it is to do with facts and is not politically correct but is true fact. I feel that (not only feel but also observed as I work in this field) that at least in streets of UK and possibly other western countries many teens are no longer "vulnerable". Go out on a Friday night on streets of Blackpool and you will find a bunch of 15 - 16 yr old smoking weed, snorting crack and flashing themselves to police officers on baton and challenging them to apprehend them. Police pretend that they have not seen them. They know that law is so much scewed to their favor that any police officer who does what is right for his duty would face a charge of indecent assault and would probably spend his entire life defending himself.

These are the "kids" who when run out of money to fund their drugs pretend as 18 and find older guys for sex and then blackmail them later saying that they were less than 16. Please do not criticize sex between 18

yeah... this is the best place to put such a warning, all members here are 18 years old or over.
Or are they??? Warning in itself is very good cause lots of perverts and sex offenders you can find everywhere.

Funny - what was the thinking behind this - that when he met the teenage kid, he was going to pass for 25? Or that things would somehow work out? Or just use cloroform? This works in reverse too - 16 year olds (or younger) pretending to be 18 on the internet.

I'd suggest the best way to protect yourself, if you reallywant to meet someone on this site, in person is : ( 1 ) Always insist on a public meeting in a busy place like a fast-food restaurant , coffee shop, or Mall. ( 2 ) If he's a fake, ((i.e: Grey-haired old guy who claimed to be 20.)) don't make a public drama of the situation, but be blunt and let him know you're not impressed and don't want any further contact with him. ( 3 ) Leave, but make sure you're still in a public place and check that he isn't following you. ( 4 ) Take a Taxi, or public transit, and again make sure you aren't followed. Yes, this sounds really paranoid, but if the guy lied to get you out in public .. who knows what he might do if he can corner you somewhere private.
