Why is it that every second guy on here seems to be called 'Cody'?

I think there must have been something in the water about 20 years ago which made parents - en masse - decide to name their child by that name.

It many ways it would be easier to simply ask: will the guy not called Cody please raise his hand

It's interesting. If you look at the chart on this website ( http://www.ourbabynamer.com/Cody-name-popularity.html ), there's a massive peak between 1980 and 2000. I wonder what celebrity or soap opera produced the popularity of the name.

Weird tho how all Codys are Friggin Hot . I think its the 4 Letters like Cole ,Cale,Toby,Jake,Matt,
Aden,Cory,Alec,Brad,Josh and Kane.
