May I recomend you THE VISION OF ESCAFLOWNE, you'll love it if you like medieval fantasy and sci-fi as well, fantastic animation, plot and soundtrack/score. my others favs (related) : Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya, Slayers, Samurai Champloo. In comics to movies nothing like Zach Snyder's Watchmen, 300, Suckerpunch.

Star Wars, LOTR, X-Men, The Matrix. They are great. I wouldn't call all that being a nerd as billions of people love all them!!

I'm not into Manga or comic books, but I am a gamer if that counts as being a "nerd". I'm also into SciFi like Star Trek and Star Wars (mostly Star Trek). I'm also into Fantasy/Adventure movies like LOTR and The Hobbit and Harry Potter, etc.

I love that shit! I think my first comic book was about 1987 at nine years old. It was "The Green Lantern". The next couple of years I ordered and bought "Transformers", bought "G.I. Joe", "He-Man", "Thundercats", and would eventually buy "Robin" on a regular basis leading up to "Young Justice", "Ultimate X-Men", and "Ultimate Spider-Man". I am years behind on reading things but I do want to catch up at some point. "Lord Of The Rings" movies would be under "fantasy", eh. I also like Japanamation but have yet to follow any series per se.
