I have not read any other posts, nor do I intend too, but it is as plain as the nose on your face that the First Nation peoples of the land mass we call the Americas have and always called gay men and women Two Spirits. It was mentioned in a script some 6 thousand years ago. Go to hell religious farts.

Very good comment Mike, I completely agree. The French, the Germans, the Dutch and especially the British behaved in exactly the same way, imposed their European culture on ancient peoples with little or no regard for those people's way of life or history. And now they all complain because immigrants from their former colonies come and live in their countries.

It's a shame that the white men who invaded America didn't learn more from the natives who once took such good care of this land. Growing corn is nice, but there is so much more wisdom that wasn't gained from those noble people.

Extremely interesting - thanks for the other links as well. Note, too, that it says 'our soil' - a reminder to those Christian leaders, among others, as to who the country's original inhabitants were, as well as of the richness of their culture. They were clearly forerunners in more ways than one. Same sex marriage isn't the novelty that people think it is: in the Greek Orthodox Church, not noted for its acceptance of gays, there is an ancient service, still used today, in which the 'brotherly' union of two men is blessed.
