Well said Gundlebunny ... In NZ they always mention the Gay Community... sadly there isn't a Gay Community to speak of.

Running a small church out of one's home is a danger sign (e.g., the Westboro Baptist Church). But...what is this "homosexual lifestyle" I keep hearing about? I figured that most gay people get up and go to work in the morning, do chores and errands, and have social lives, hobbies and interests just like anyone else.

Sounds like Westboro Baptist Church, somewhere in Kansas maybe?

"life style"? im so tired of that term! wth does that mean? my style is no diff than any str8 person. and, have you seen how efed up they can be?
but let's not 4get..there r those who use these kinda stories to bash religion. it's not a universal opinion just as all gay people can't be judged by 1 gay person.

STORY UPDATE: Homophobic pastor's Sunday sermon will be met with protest
Demonstrators are gathering in an effort to counter the message of a homophobic Auckland pastor who called an openly gay Christian author a "filthy child molesting fag".

Westcity Bible Baptist Church pastor Logan Robertson's views began to circulate following an email he sent to author Jim Marjoram on Monday.

"We are not interested in your filthy lifestyle or book. I pray that you will commit suicide, you filthy child molesting fag," Mr Robertson wrote.

Pastor tells gay ONE News Reporter to 'commit suicide'

Mr Robertson then refused to give openly gay ONE News reporter Matt McLean an interview, labelling him a "filthy faggot".

A demonstration at Saint Margarets Park in Auckland's West Harbour is timed for 10am this morning to coincide with the weekly service time at Westcity Bible Baptist Church.

It's amazing to me that men like this Pastor can no doubt bleat on and on about Jesus day after day, then trample all over the spirit of what Jesus had to say.

Agreed Marshmount (Personally I feel that this is just a sad and failed attempt to grab some headlines by Pastor Robertson.) and isn't reflective of 'most' Christians.
