I woke the following morning to a bright crisp day the air was very still only birdsong drifted to my ears, i glanced over and Tam was still asleep, i reached for my boxes and placed them on, i always sleep naked, i rose from the bed and tip toed towards Tam, he looked so very young lying there his flawless skin glowing with health, i backtracked and went into the bathroom to take a shower, all Tams wash-bag and brushes were neatly lined up on the shelf, it was a cosy situation, the last time anyone had shared my bathroom was Ben. I still don't shave so a quick brush of the teeth finished my ablutions and i wrapped a towel around my waist and went back into my dorm, Tam was smiling at me with his head resting on his hand.' 'No i heard the shower that was all,' i looked at the clock it was 8.10 am, 'I will go and get changed and then you can use the shower OK?' he nodded, i gathered some clothes and headed for the bathroom again, i emerged to find Tam tapping away on his laptop,' Logging in to home?' i asked him smiling, he nodded, i tided my desk and Tam closed his laptop and went for a shower. There was a knock on my door, Ben stood there,. 'Where is he?' he whispered, 'taking a shower i whispered back, 'Is he really a Prince, a member of Japans Royal Family?' i nodded, 'Good God, why the hell didn't they tell me?' ' Just then Tam emerged from the bathroom a towel around him, Ben looked at me knowingly, i frowned and shook my head, 'Ben this is Tam, that's his new first name here at Uni, Tam went to bow and stopped, Ben went to hug and stopped and we all laughed. 'Morning Tam' did my brother take good care of you?' and Tam said i had and we had a great dinner in town etc, Ben said 'I am off to breakfast are you coming?' i said 'Look Ben i don't want to get Tam involved with the gang just yet let him settle in for a few days first, do you mind?' and Ben came to me and hugged me and pecked me on the lips,' Of course not but Danny will miss you.' now i blushed, and Ben giggled as he let himself out. I sort of nodded and ushered him to get dressed so we could go down to breakfast, The only problem i had with all this was everyone knew who i was, they all knew i was in the gang and that i was Ben's twin brother, so anyone new being seen with me caused something of a stir and this morning was no exception. Students stared at this new cutie in my sole presence unlike normally we would be sitting amongst the gang so i devised a plan but waited to get Tam back to my dorm first. We arrived to find Danny standing outside, he looked miserable, 'Hi Danny,' he said Hi back and he stared at Tam, 'This is Tam, a friend, Danny held out his hand and Tam took it, 'Can I talk to you Rory?' I smiled, 'of course, and opened my door, 'in private please,' I ushered Tam in told him i wouldn't be long and walked with Danny back to his room a few doors down the corridor. As soon as we were inside he rounded on me, 'Have i done something to upset you?' he asked me, i drew him to me and hugged him, 'Of course not Dan, you know i would have told you if there was anything wrong,' 'then why have you been avoiding me?' 'Danny, I haven't, i have just been very busy with this new boy who has transferred from Montpelier to us for six months, that's all, didn't Ben explain to you?' No, you know what he's like he wont tolerate any mention of you behind your back,' I smiled at him, ' Danny, do you love me?' 'you know i do,' 'Then do you trust me?' 'of course why?''well Ben has entrusted me with a task which is delicate to say the least, it has nothing to do with you or the gang but for now it has to remain a secret, OK?' 'Will I not see you around?' of course Dan, but not in the canteen, if you want to come and see me just text me OK?' he brightened, 'I thought you had fallen out with me,' I grabbed his head and kissed him smack on the lips, he pulled away, 'awe Rory don't do that,' and he wiped his mouth and i laughed, he would take my cock all night but kissing? totally out of the question, 'Well that proves i haven't fallen out with you doesn't it,?' he nodded and smiled, 'See you later and i grabbed his crotch and he winced, I returned to my room and Tam was sitting cross legged on the spare bed with his computer on his lap, he glanced up, he wasn't smiling, 'Is your friend alright?' 'Yes he just hasn't seen me for a couple of days we normally eat together,' he looked sad, 'Now you don't because of me?' I went to him and hugged him, this boy was getting to me, he hugged back, 'No Tam it's not because of you it's because of me i chose to look after you,' 'But I have caused you so much trouble!' 'Tam, my brother has given me the job of taking care of you, it was a chore at first but now i want to look after you do you understand?' he shook his head, how could i explain to him? 'Since I have come to know you after these couple of day i have accepted you as a friend and i look after all my friends, do you understand?' he just looked at me, 'I like you Tam.' he looked alarmed, 'What is it Tam?' 'you like me?' 'Yes Tam anybody would like you your a nice boy.' and he suddenly relaxed, ( i later found out that if a young guy in Japan says 'i like you' he is saying i am in love with you. no wonder he was alarmed. 'I have some suggestions will you listen to me?' he nodded and put his computer away so i could sit next to him, he really was a beautiful boy, 'First of all i don't want to you to stay in your dorm room, i want you to stay here with me you will be safer OK?' he said 'Really!' and i said, 'it has to be better than living in Dave's room,' he smiled and hugged me, i was liking these hugs, 'and secondly we are not going to the canteen any more!' he looked puzzled, ' We are going into Edinburgh where no-one knows you and we will buy a two ring electric hotplate and some pans and bowels you can choose your favorite porridge and we will buy all that we need to settle in comfortably, what do you think?' he looked stunned, 'You would do that for me?' And for me,' i said smiling, 'we already have a fridge, so are you up for it?' he smiled and jumped into my arms and hugged me, i felt his heart beating quite fast, i drew him away, ' will this make you happy?' he nodded, 'come on lets go. So we jumped in the Range Rover and spent the day buying things in Edinburgh, Tam loved the city and wanted to visit the Castle and all the other attractions but we had too much to do so i promised him i would bring him back this coming weekend and we would visit everywhere and he was so happy. The days passed and we had a string of visitors including Ben and Danny, and Cathy, it was a happy time, Tam was a lovely gentle boy who had been starved of friends and reveled in the attention he was getting from all of us, but especially me, he wouldn't hug anyone, but as soon as we were alone he hugged me at any and every occasion, then one day i arose quite early i had to take some documents to the administrative department so i showered and dressed and tried to leave quietly and Tam suddenly saw me and called my name he looked startled, i went to him,'What is it Tam?' 'Are you leaving?', 'I'm only going to deliver some documents i wont be long, are you OK?' he nodded, i hugged him and he held me very tight and i wondered what had brought this on. I hurried to the main building and posted the documents through the letterbox and went back to my room, Tam was still in bed he was looking out of the window at the clouds, he seemed miles away, i sat beside him,' What is it Tam, are you feeling alright?' He nodded, shall i make you some breakfast?' he nodded again, something was troubling him and i was determined to find out what, we had grown very close, i knew he liked me he hung on my every word, i made some porridge for both of us and Tam rose and sat at our desk and i poured him some juice, he moved the porridge around on the plate with his spoon wistfully, 'Tam!' he looked up, 'If you don't tell me whats wrong i am going to tickle you.' i had found out he was very ticklish so this threat was real, he looked at me and there were tears in his eyes, i rose quickly and went to him and gathered him into my arms,' 'Tam, what is it?' 'In a few months i will have to go away, we wont be friends anymore,' and his tears fell down his cheek, i wiped them away with my thumb, 'You don't believe that i will ever not be friends with you do you?' 'How can we be?' is all he said quietly, 'I will come and stay with you and you can come and stay at my house, we will spend all summers together, what do you think?' 'Will you?' I kissed his forehead, 'do you ever think i am going to let you go Tam?' your my friend now and you always will be, so cheer up and eat your porridge you have a lecture to go to,' and he reached up and kissed my cheek, i was surprised and let go of him, he dropped his eyes and apologized, i told him not to be silly, friends sometimes kiss that was OK by me. 'I kiss Ben and you saw Ben kiss me it's natural between close friends here,' he seemed placated, but i was worried about my feelings for him because they were growing quite fast and i was desperate not to frighten him off, i cleared up as he went for a shower, we both went out together he always hugged me before he left, and i hugged back, this boy was getting to me and i decided to confide in Ben, what else could i do.?
